the– hOle –studio is an independent Dance, Performance, and Film Company based in Toronto, founded by Iranian artists Jaber Ramezan and Negar Nemati.
Working across contemporary performance, dance, theatre, film, and interdisciplinary creation, the company develops original works for stage and screen that bring together movement, visual culture, artistic research, and collaborative creation.
Drawing on more than fifteen years of professional practice and international collaborations, the studio explores themes of memory, migration, identity, spectatorship, and the relationship between body and place.
Through performances, films, workshops, and artistic laboratories, the– hOle –studio fosters dialogue across cultures and disciplines while supporting new forms of contemporary artistic expression.
