After 40+ years of devoted service to DanceWorks Dance Curator Mimi Beck, has announced her intention to retire as of September, 2023.
Under Mimi’s able leadership and creative direction, DanceWorks has become a leading presenter of dance in Canada developing and promoting many seasons of high quality, culturally pluralistic dance programming, reflecting our diverse dance community.
In addition to her incredible curatorial accomplishments, Mimi has been a guiding friend and often mentor to all she has connected with – artists, staff, patrons and community members over many years.
