Ontario‘s Culture Program will be reduced by just under $60m for a total budget of $235,295,600.
The Ontario Arts Council is reduced by a further $5m and will receive $60m and the Ontario Trillium Foundation will be reduced to $103,495,000 – or approx $10m less.
The Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund (OCAF) is preserved at $2M for this fiscal year.
The amount for Celebrate Ontario is confirmed at $20M for 2019-20; the list of approved projects has yet to be published.
The AGO, ROM, Science Centres, Community Museums, etc. are all frozen at last year’s level.
