Ryerson Theatre School’s Dance Program presents an excerpt from the evening length work Kudelka Meets Ryerson Dances 2015

Internationally renowned choreographer James Kudelka, was the Ryerson Theatre School’s distinguished guest artist during Fall 2015.  Created and performed in silence, this brand new 90-minute work featured 56 dancers.  The work debuted in November 2015 at the Ryerson Theatre. 

The 4-year BFA program in Performance Dance at Ryerson University’s Theatre School is the most intensive and comprehensive undergraduate program of its kind in Canada. Delivered by a faculty with extensive professional experience and a passion for student development, the program has earned widespread respect throughout the professional dance community.

Rigorous daily professional training in four dance disciplines – ballet, modern, contemporary and jazz – is combined with related studies in improvisation, composition, theory, history, music, and anatomy. Courses in acting, singing, and choreography are also integrated into the training.

This comprehensive, in-depth approach to learning dance provides exceptional performance, teaching, and choreographic versatility. Prepared for a wide number of career opportunities, students graduate with a professional work ethic, technique and artistry.
