Artistry and Performance, a Summer Intensive in Ballet with Irina Lerman

2 Divisions – Intermediate and Advanced! July 17th -27th, Toronto.

9 days of professional level training, workshops, choreography and PERFORMANCE! Plus an opportunity to work with choreographer Irina Lerman on her newest work and perform it at Winchester Street Theatre.

This intensive is for advanced and intermediate dancers!While Intermediate Division students will participate in the intensive alongside the Advanced and Professional dancers, they will receive separate technical training from Irina Lerman and the faculty appropriate for their level of technical and artistic ability. Dancers will also join some classes with the Advanced level and will have the chance to watch, be inspired by, and perform with the Advanced and Professional dancers.

This program is designed for dancers 12 and up, with a minimum of 2 years of dance training in ballet or contemporary.

MULTIPLE PACKAGES available to suit your schedule, (including morning-only and custom packages to match your daily availability).

The masterclasses by Irina Lerman and faculty will include: 

🔹 ballet (Vaganova Method), 

🔹 pointe technique

🔹 classical repertoire, 

🔹 character dance and repertoire from the stage of Mariinsky Theatre, 

🔹 neo-classical repertoire and choreography, 

🔹 contemporary repertoire, as well as 

🔹 Floor Barre (Knyazev’s Technique), 

🔹 Irina’s special “Speak With Your Arms” porte de bras technique,

🔹 and opportunities to network and ask questions.

🔹 PERFORMANCE on July 27th (including repertoire learned in each discipline, new work by Irina Lerman and guest choreographers 

🔹 Professional video recording of the performance to use for auditions, portfolios, and future projects!
