Following international creative residencies at LAX Studio in Paris and elite recognition in London, Avant-Garde Choreographer & Movement Director Antoinette Best returns to
Ontario to open this exclusive summer intensive this July.
This 2-week progressive intensive is designed for adult dancers, actors, and moving artists ready to transcend standard, cookie-cutter choreography. Grounded in a rich foundation of musical theater and vintage dance, this intensive focuses on cinematic storytelling, spatial geometry, and performance texture.
The Curriculum & Specialized Niches:
K-Fusion Femme: High-fashion geometric lines and modern Eastern staging met with sharp industry mechanics. Chic-Artisan Expressive Heels & Strut: Rooted in classic cabaret, old Hollywood posture, and deep character work.
The Training Methodology:
True artistry requires structural stability. Pulling from classical ballet alignment, all training begins in dance sneakers to master core weight distribution, footwork templates, and catwalk mechanics before transitioning into heels.
