Chimera Summer Intensive is designed for an Emerging or Pre-professional dancer looking to hone their craft, and explore tools and methods that can take their body and artistry to the next level.

With a requirement of 5+ years of technical contemporary dance training, our program is tailored to challenge emerging and pre-professional dancers who are inspired to elevate their athleticism and interpretation.

The five day session will culminate in an Open Studio showing.​

Faculty includes: Louis Laberge-Côté, Amy Hampton, Malgorzata Nowacka-May, Tavia Christina, Mio Sakamoto and Eleanor van Veen.

The program entails:

  • Daily Contemporary Technique Class
  • Participation in New Creation / Exploration with a focus on entry ways and methods
  • Chimera Repertoire
  • Pilates for Dancers
  • Floor Work Class
  • Partnering Class
  • In-Studio Showing
