Contemporary Dance Lab’s inaugural summer intensive brings students and alumni of Juilliard Dance, all native to Canada, to educate the future generation of artists in the contemporary dance world. We offer the culmination of our education at Juilliard and professional knowledge within and outside of North America to our students. Our week-long intensive offers contemporary, repertory, improvisation, and ballet classes, followed by a new creation session with one of our choreographers, providing young dancers the tools and fundamentals of contemporary dance. Through the classes, creations and discussions, we believe our students will be immersed in engaging, challenging work. We hope students discover their personal artistic voice to guide their dance journeys – whether on stage, in the studio, or in other creative roles.
