STDT has announced that Sasha will join the School in mid-August as Patricia Fraser, the School’s current Artistic Director, will retire at the end of the summer. Sasha is an alumna of The School of Toronto Dance Theatre, and went on to join Toronto Dance Theatre and run her own ad hoc company, Ivanochko in company, for 15 years. She subsequently pursued her Masters of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at Simon Fraser University. Her research there was awarded the Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate – Masters Scholarship.
