Eilish is a Toronto based artist, dancer, and choreographer. She is additionally a dance educator and certified Pilates instructor. She received her B.F.A. in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, where she graduated with Honours. Eilish received her Mat Pilates certification from The Kane School at Kinected, where she is currently completing her Equipment & Special Populations training.
As a dancer, Eilish has had the privilege to perform in works by Peter Chu, Bill T. Jones, Anton Lachky, John Heginbotham, and Adam Barruch. She has additionally trained with Johannes Wieland, Anouk van Dijk, Andrea Miller, Ryan Mason, Isadora Wolfe, and Stefanie Batten Bland. Alongside performing, Eilish has choreographed numerous pieces for Marymount’s ‘Dancers at Work’ series. She has additionally premiered choreographic works at NYU’s Choreofest 2020, and was accepted into the Emerging Artist Theatre’s ‘New Work Series’.
Eilish deeply believes in the healing and transformative power of movement, and sees the arts as a vessel for change, growth, and understanding. Her half-Korean background has foundationally influenced her interest in identity politics, and the elusive interaction between self-identity and perceived identity. Eilish passionately questions the world around her, and is continuously interested in diversifying her experiences and knowledge.
